The King James Bible

The Authorised Version was commissioned in 1604 by King James I, and completed in 1611. It is commonly held to be one of the most influential texts ever printed in the English langauge.
2011 marked the 400th anniversary of its publication, and in honor of this important year, we tried the seemingly impossible. With close to 1 million words, it's the longest text we've brought to a poster: a record the “KJB” is likely to hold for some time.
God, they say, is in the detail, but then, so too is the devil.
